Affiliate Disclosure
The short version: some of our links earn us a commission, none of them change what we recommend.
JeepLights participates in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Associates program and other partner programs. That means some of the links to products in our articles are affiliate links.
What that means for you
If you click one of those links and buy something, we may earn a small commission — at no additional cost to you. You pay the same price you'd pay otherwise. It's one of the ways we keep the site running while keeping the advice free.
Commissions do not influence our recommendations
This is the part that matters most, and we mean it literally. Our recommendations are based on build strategy, capability, reliability, and value— never on which product pays the highest commission. We decide what to recommend with the links turned off, and only then add a link to something we'd already tell you to consider.
Plenty of our articles tell you to buy less— to skip the 35s, to wait on a winch, to not regear — even though “buy more” would pay us more. That's on purpose. If an affiliate relationship ever pushed us toward advice we wouldn't otherwise give, we'd drop the relationship, not the advice.
Buy what fits your rig
The products we link are examplesthat meet the criteria we describe — not the single “best” choice for everyone. Always buy what best fits your specific vehicle, how you actually drive, and your goals. Confirm fitment for your year and trim before you purchase.
Spotting affiliate links
Articles that contain affiliate links carry a disclosure near the top, and the links themselves are marked up as sponsored. As required by the Amazon Associates Operating Agreement, we identify ourselves as an Amazon Associate: “As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.”
